Assemble Your Quilt Pattern

Quilt pattern is for a baby quilt. You can simply add to the quilt to make it larger. The sizes are on the PDF.

First you want to complete all of your squares. This will help you be able to put everything together quicker and will ensure that you have enough fabric and squares to complete the quilt size that you’re wanting.

I think it’s easier to complete your rows and then to sew your rows together to finish off your quilt. Using a quarter inch seam allowance you’re going to sew two squares together and press your seams going One Direction.

Next you’ll add your third Square doing the same thing as you did above using a quarter inch seam allowance and then pressing your seam once you’ve done it. If you’re making the baby quilt then you’ll add one more Square and do the same steps as above.

I recommend that you go ahead and complete all of your rows. Make sure and straighten up any of your rows so that they are even and your squares are all straight.

Once you’ve squared everything up, you’re going to want to add your rows and so one row at a time. You’ll so Row one to row two and then press the seams.

Next, you’re going to so Row three to rows one and two and press your seams. And then you’re just going to keep completing that process until you have the link that you desire.

To finish off your quilt you can do a two to three inch border with matching fabric or you can do a borderless quilt.

Finish off your card trick quilt pattern by placing the backing and your batting and sewing those either using your long arm or with your domestic sewing machine. You could also hand tie if you’re not comfortable with either of those.

When finished, go ahead and add some binding that matches your cute card trick quilt pattern.
