Cutting Instructions

  • Scrap Fabrics cut 2.5″x 6″ (I used 6 fabrics, but you can totally adjust that)
  • 4-10.5″ binding strips if you are binding the quilt block

Sewing Instructions

Sew 3 pieces together and iron. Repeat another 3 times so that you have 4 total. You want to mix up your color so that nothing will line up later. Don’t forget to press your seams when you are done sewing.

Now cut each 3 piece square from corner to corner so that you have triangles. Don’t forget the PDF has pictures of each step. Press your seams to lay flat.

Next, you will want to mix and match your triangles right sides together and sew the long edges of 2 triangles together using a 1/4″ seam allowance. Press your seams. Make 4 squares.

Finally, you will take your 4 squares and sew them together. You will probably need to straighten your seams. You want your squares to measure 10″ x 10″. Now you have your scrap fabric quilt block pattern finished and you can add them together for a larger project.
